Mmmmmm, I just got me a Comfort Strapp for one of my basses today. Who else is enjoying their comfy straps?

I'll never use it again. yes, it's wide and nice and padded, but over the padding there is a 1 3/4 seatbelt strap over it, and it pulls down and digs into my shoulder. The only strap I can use anymore that doesn't kill me after a 4 hour gig is that 4" strap made by the guy who makes the Slapring.
But this is just my experience. I don't mean to rain on your parade. It's a nice strap, but it just didn't work for me.

Before this I've had a Comfort Strap, but didn't enjoy it to much. Ernie Ball straps, which I liked, just wish they were wider and then some generic thing that sucked. |

Its like a 3" wide nylon padded strap and its nice. Though I like the thinner straps sometimes for the added flexibility in movement (like when your running aroud a lot and acting all goofy and such, you know the feeling).

Used one for years. It is my oldest piece of equipment. |

This thread is the first I've heard of people being actually unhappy with the Comfort Strapp.

| | | | Comfort Strapp! I've been using these for a looong time now and I have never found a more comfortable strap. The wetsuit material stretches just a bit which seems to make basses feel lighter than they actually are and they don't shift on your shoulder which really helps with balance. IMO they are simply the best Bass strap design so far.

That said, I don't like a strap that holds onto my shoulder for guitar as I constantly move it around and prefer narrow higher quality nylon straps for that purpose.
But when it comes to bass and not wanting it to move around, I love my Comfort Strapp. |
