Hi^^
I have twho questions about the Comfort Strapps.

1. does they grab well, like will it slide? i want my bass to be in the same spot the whole time.

2. Im about 185-190cm tall, I wear my bass it the same height standing as sitting, which one is for me?

Im living in Norway, so Im not going to be able try one... also, the prices for music stuff is insane.
Thanks.

And yes, Ive searched ;-]

While I really love my Comfort Strapps (I own 3 of them) I'm afraid they do not "grab well"...there's a bit of sliding around.

I can't answer your second question 'cuz I'm not near my basses right now & I can never remember which size I have!

My parents got me a Comfort Strapp for Christmas last year and I love it. It really takes the weight of the bass off my shoulders. I'm not sure how tall 190cm would be, but I'm 6'3" and it comes down about to my belly if I need it to, but I usually keep it a little higher. I have the longer version of the strap (AFAIK they only come in 2 sizes, but I could be wrong). As far as the strap sliding, I would agree that it does not grip particularly well, but I play without much body movement, so my bass stays in the same place. I'm not sure how well it would work if you jump around or move about more. Overall, great strap and MUCH better than the first thin piece of garbage I had.

I think they come in "Short", "Long", and "Extra Long". I have about 5 of them. I have 4 "Long" and one "Extra Long".

Forgive me, but I don't know what your height in cm's equals in feet/inches. I'm 6 feet even (72 inches). The "Long" version is just right for me. I wear my basses at waist level. If you're any taller than 6 feet, or like to wear your bass lower, I'd definitely go with the Extra Long. Here's a couple pics of where the Long version sits on me.

In American measurements, you are approximately 6'1" to 6'2" and I believe the Long strap will work for you. I am a couple of inches shorter than you, but I wear my bass slightly lower as well. There is not a lot of adjustment room on the Comfort strapps, but they are great straps and definitely make the bass seem lighter since they stretch a little and are well padded.

If he's 6'1", or especially if he's 6'2", I'd go with the Extra Long. Like I said, the "Long" is just right for me (at 6' even), but I wouldn't want it any shorter. If the Extra Long is a hair too long, you can always us one of the other strap button openings to shorten it up a bit.
