Recently our jazz and pep band conductor at our school was asked to resign, and since he was a good friend to us, his students, we are throwing him a going-away party and are planning on getting him a very nice baton. I'm not too sure, but what are you're preferences?
I'm looking right now a Mollard P-Series baton with either a rosewood or zebrawood handle. What do you think of these? Any other recommendations? We're looking to get a case as well and have it engraved. Any ideas where to get a nice baton case too?
