Conga drum info needed!

Sign in to disble this ad
I have three conga drums that were made by a company in Longwood, Florida named Daito Percussion. The drums are labeled as DP on the plate. From the very little bit of info I can find on them, they apparently are a small builder of fairly high-end percussion instruments, but they have no web page to check them out.

My problem is that I need to get a replacement ring for the head on one of them .... standard LP stuff doesn't mount properly. I have tried to contact these guys via mail and phone, but nothing is working. Letters go unanswered and phone messages are not returned.

Any percussionists here know anything about them? I know it's a long shot, but worth the post .....
