Now that they have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and an award-winning documentary maybe they'll get into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!

There's nothing I'd love more than them declining to be in the HoF.

I was very saddened when they were on the cover of Rolling Stone last year.

Personally, I'd love to see them tell Jan Wenner to STUFF IT on stage at the HOF. Get nominated, get elected, show up to the ceremony and say "No thanks, we don't need YOUR approval - we have 23 Gold records and 14 Platinum records, and have the approval of our fans - y'know the people that really count. Your approval means nothing to us." And just walk off, in front of EVERYONE.

Wenner is a self-appointed arbiter of what is "cool", and the fact that Rush are as popular and well-off as they are must drive him absolutely insane. Good, he's a jerkoff.

I would love that as well. Unfortunately, Geddy, Alex and Neil are way too classy to do that.

Agreed.

They'd show up, be gracious, then go home and put the award in one of their attics and laugh about what a bunch of bozos those clowns that decide who deserves to be in the "Rock 'n Roll Hall Of Fame" are.

Oh, and Neil would stay home, or be riding his motorcycle in some far off place.

I recorded it on Palladia on Saturday. Great show. Very interesting and a few tidbits I didn't know as a long time RUSH fan.

I agree. I went to the one night showing of it, and won a limited edition Epiphone Les Paul. The guitar is basic, but there are only 10 of them with the graphic. If you are curious, you can see it here.

"Noticeably absent was drummer and lyricist Neil Peart, who was riding a motorcycle to the band's first tour date in Albuquerque on Tuesday."

Love it.
