Constructive criticism, opinions

Sign in to disble this ad
Recently my band recorded some things,
and I'm looking for some constructive criticism on how we can make our music better/opinions on what we've done so far.
Sorry for the less than stellar quality, but we had to compress the songs to get them on soundclick.

sounds alright... but you really shouldn't take my opinion because i don't really like metal that much... for metal though its alright... so you might want some more metal player opinions

Timing, boys. Timing.

That's what all of you (but especially the drummer and guitarist, I couldn't hear your playing too well) need to work on. Professional musicians often say it's THE most important thing in music, and I couldn't agree more. Good common timing is required for a band to sound good, and you can't fake that.

So, practice with a metronome, all of you, and when playing together, make sure everyone is following the same tempo. If possible, put a metronome loudly through a speaker when you're rehearsing. You'll gain a lot.

Otherwise I can't say too much about the music. Metal is not my genre...

Rock on...
