Converting AAC to MP3?

Hi, can AAC files be easily converted to MP3 (in mass numbers) in order to be played on an ipod-style mp3 player that only accepts mp3s? I realize there are probably several ways to do them one by one, but is there a fast way to convert hundreds of them with little effort? Thanks.

Sure...I just did it myself in iTunes. Right click then import as MP3.

Better yet, I did it from an attachment in an email that my guitarist sent me that wouldn't save properly.
