Epitaph and Andy, thanks. And you're right: it's hard leather. I think it will still stand up in the corner by itself. Somehow it's not uncomfortable. Maybe it's broken in, or maybe I've lost all feeling in my left shoulder.

This is just an off the shelf strap that happened to go with my Ric 4004Cii rather nicely. It is adorned with an "ancient flyer" pin from the show "ancient aliens"...

They're not quite as comfortable as the Comfort Strapps, but these 3" ones are not bad. I'm a pretty big guy, and I like the length of the Get'm Get'ms. You used to be able to get some killer deals on these from Amazon, but the prices have gone sky high lately.
