OK, no gig pic because I ended up playing DB, but I found a rehearsal photo from last week. Ridiculous, isn't it?

Pklima, where were you rehearsing? Looks like a model's convention.

(BTW, that strap is pretty awesome.)

It was a rehearsal for the Christmas party at work - we put some music together for that for the second year running, and of course lots of girls wanted to be involved. I don't work for a modeling agency, all these girls are doing IT-related work. There are actually a lot of gorgeous women in their 20s working in IT in this country.

But, is the strap cool enough to get me into this club?

I obviously got out of IT too soon (about 10 years ago, now). At that time it was all skinny or fat dudes with poor personal hygene!

Cool strap, by-the-by!

I'll play again... Forgot the strap for my Stambaugh. Not a lot of flash to it, but it's reversible. Brown leather on one side that looks sweet with the pickup covers, tan suede on the other that (almost) matches the color of the fretboard.

I think I like the suede side better.

I think of straps as strickly utilitarian tools,, they keep my pretty basses from hitting the floor when i stand.

Then you do not have to play in this sandbox.

The Bass Bass Strap...!

No need for a number... I don't own this and have no connection to the CL ad that this pic was attached to, but I thought it would be a perfect fit for this club!

No-Dive Strap TM

i came up with this final design after making numerous prototypes. Handmade in the U.S.A.

it cures issues with neckdive, heavy basses, & physical issues that us bass players develop ( sadly ) as our bodies age, as it centralizes the weight of the bass & distributes it evenly across both shoulders, down the core ( spine ) to the hips.

or can be worn more conventionally

under a shirt

or under a sport coat

& can be worn in a high position as well

i'll take a #

I found this on eBay from a leather worker down in LA. It's perfect for the Forte-X I recently purchased. I contact cemented some dyed black sheep skin on the back for extra padding. Same guy is currently making me a 3" wide one with diagonal set pyramids and bigger spikes. I'll throw some pix up of that when I get it. Does this club give out numbers?
