Only £3,950 ... so ... about $8k for that?

Looks like it's got an absurd learning curve. I'd probably find it easier to learn the real instruments than that thing.

Hi.

Like Papazita on his thread suggested, someone's been watching Star Wars too closely .

In reality, that looks to be "just" several existing MIDI controllers slapped together. True, the touch-sensitive pads are expensive, but £4K, that's absurd. To me anyway.

Regards
Sam

+1

It's like all of those instruments that traveling salesmen used to run around trying to sell. They had immense learning curves and never really caught on because of it.

I'm sure there will be people that pick them up and "master" them, but it's not going to replace any traditional instruments anytime soon.

Isn't it just a keyboard with an attached vocoder? Or am I missing something?

This is an excellent instrument. If I had the money I would seriously get one.

Check out how sick the sounds can be off just two.

This is the first instrument I've seen that gives me severe GAS for quite a long time. I've just requested an invite to a demo session on their website.

Anyone who tries to replace real drums is a fool. That overshadows any merit this instrument may have, IMHO.

Kewl. Combines chapman stick like stringed instrument with breath controller and trigger pads. Could be a very nice synth controller imo. But will wait for the prices to drop a good bit. Of course the advantage of the chapman stick like aspect is for fretting nuances for synth control that cant be done with keys on a keyboard. Wonders if theyre connected to chapman company? A fewer strings version with the alternate control (breath and trigger pads) added.

Sort of off topic, but isn't that song the theme from the Bourne Trilogy?
