Well we weren't expecting this!!.........
Lounge Fly have just been notified that they have made the final top 40 bands from over 2000 in the running to play alongside acts such as The Prodigy, Lily Allen, Dizzee Rascal and Kasabian at FIB Heineken 2010.
'Fast Track to FIB Heineken', organised by Supajam, receives thousands of band entries every year. Tracks are submitted online, which are then voted on by the public before a shortlist of the top 40 is announced. Supajam, who are also partnered with Apple, will be heavily promoting the finalists on Apple’s QuickTime Player over the next few weeks, reaching a potential audience of several million across the globe. The five most popular bands will then play a show at the legendary Pigalle Club in London on June 8th with the best performance securing the festival slot.

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeese!!!! I notice one of the other bands at least has already started the more purile approach of rating other bands low and then slagging them off in their comments while trying to plug their own!??, Not our style!
But i'd REALLY appreciate it if the combined muscle of talkbass could help us out here and stick this up for us on your facebooks/myspaces/other forums/tell your mates, spread the word, anything you can think of!! etc etc Vote for us here
