Counterfeit money?

Sign in to disble this ad
I have been selling a few music items locally and have a concern. Since I only accept cash, buyers tend to pay me in large bills. It occurred to me the other day that I might accidentally or purposely accept a phony bill.

How do you guys deal with this situation? Should I whip out one of those bill detector pens? Where can I buy one of those pens?

You can buy the pens at just about any office supply store.

I think you have a lot more potential to be mugged for equipment than to have a bad bill passed on you. But for $6 the bill detector pen looks worthwhile if you are really that worried about it.

Or just sell to Cougs - they're wonderful people!
