to search all locations at once, just go to google and type "craigslist.org: fretless bass" or whatever you are looking for. There's also the craigslittlebuddy.com website, but doing it yourself via google is better IMO.

Which you should be anyway if you use firefox "craiglist image preview" is a pretty cool addon that lets you preview the images on the first page instead of opening a bunch of tabs. It shows thumbnails and then blows the pic up when you roll over it.

And I just use google advanced search to search whatever on craigslist.org.
