Who knows... he might just make this trade. After all, how many guitarists do you know who aren't completely fed up with being in bands, playing awesome shows and probably meeting and scoring with all kinds of chicks? Man, they're a dime-a-dozen!

Funny! But I do have to say... World of Warcraft is an AWESOME game. And yes I'll admit I'm a geek. So is my wife!

i started MMO'ing back in the very earliest days of evercrack. played that for seven years. i use the term 'play' lightly. mostly it was a lot of frustration, fights over the phone line, grinding, losing all my gear because a sand giant killed me in the oasis just before i was logging off and couldn't make it back to my corpse before it all disappeared.

i played WoW for like... less than a year. it was a lot of fun. loved the visual style, the animations and such were fantastic, quests seemed to make sense and if you followed the story that the game lays out, it both levels you adequately and fills you in on some fun parts of the narrative.

but i'll tell you, i was so happy to ditch the bill for that game. and i'd got an account from a co-worker with like 5 lvl60s on it for free. sold it for nearly 700 bucks, bought another account with a few 60s, had a buddy grind it for a while to try the game out and such, sold that for a profit. i did this probably a dozen times.

i like gaming. and i liked WoW, but i don't want to have a monthly bill for fantasy, it just wasn't worth it for me.

but hey, i have a ****** guitar and amp kicking around here somewhere. i bet i could turn a profit from that account.

Until everyone's blown through all the new content. Heroics no longer bring gear people need, so no one does them. And every guild is grinding perpetually on the same top instance and complaining because they're 'bored'.

"Initially" it was a great game... now it's just a month or three grind through new content after an expansion is released every couple years. Sadly.

Sold a couple accounts... each time time prior to expansions coming out. Played each expansion for the experience of it, but the same issues quickly perpetuate themselves. Re-activated my old account for this expansion and ended up not even topping out one character before the irritation factor took ahold. It's an online slice of the real worlds problems when it comes down to it. Boredom. Greed. Obsessiveness. Lies to advance oneself at the expense of others. Blah blah blah.

:-)

If you're a WOW player, you may not have any idea of how little sense that paragraph makes to the rest of the world. Eh??? "New content?" A guild is grinding? Don't they make mostly acoustic guitars and middle range electric guitars?

Egads. Uber be so confused right now.
