The Crash Kings Rock!

I saw this band earlier in the week and they were spectacular. A simply amazing rock trio without traditional guitar. The vocalist Tony Beliveau sings, plays keys and a clavinet that has a whammy bar. His brother Mike plays bass, and he does a great job of it. He also has the best grindy rock bass tone I've ever heard. I couldn't get a picture of his rig because of my location, the annoying venue lights and the fact that I was using a cell phone. Their drummer Jason Morris was solid and oddly enough played without shoes.

Their current single is called "Mountain Man".

And this is them performing "War Pigs" with Chris Cornell.

Check them out.

-2 Unknown cabs (probably 4x10's)

Yeah I agree . I really like that mountain man song and Mike's tone is exactly what I want from my P-bass.

I am picking this song out now so my band can cover it. When I first heard it I thought it was The White Stripes.
