that i like playing my 30+ year old Cort that is worth about $30 now over my new $480 ibanez sr405?

i got the Cort from my old junior high band class.. i rented it and i got kicked out of the school and they never asked for it back so i kept it..

this bass has carvings all over the back of teh body and headstock and the tone is less then par for a P bass

but i just love the feel of it so much..

should i have just spent all that money is making my cort worth a damn?

I've played an Ibanez SR405. I'm guessing I'd also prefer a 30 year old Cort. No crime in that.

lol.. its not even for the sound.. the ibanez has way better sound and tone and depth and all that technical stuff

the cort has buzz up to my ears and poopy tone.. but i just love how it all feels
