Anybody else watch CSI about the Fender Jazz Bass suspected of electrocuting the bass player from Rascal Flatts?

I didn't see it but there have been a few poeple killed and/or seriously injured in the past. BTW Gary Thain wasn't killed by the electric shock but he was never the same after it and died a year or so later. In the UK we had a few deaths in the '70s - Steve Harvey from Stone the Crows - a great Blues Band form Scotland, Keith Relf from The Yardbirds, John Rostill from The Shadows and nearly me in 1972 - a friend of mine kicked one of the two guitars I was holding out of my hand as I hit the ground, it was good job he did 'cos the muscles in my hands were locked and I couldn't let go. The other's weren't so lucky as they were alone at the time (apart from Steve Harvey who was on stage) and were killed.

Yeah, they even mentioned Keith Relf's death in the show. I didn't see the whole thing, only the first 15 minutes or so. It certainly was NOT an original 1962 Jazz bass of course, but they tried. I understand the guy who plays the coroner is a part-time musician too with an oldies band. BTW, Gary Sinise (Mac in "CSI-New York") plays bass in "The Captain Dan Band" and at least one episode of "CSI-New York" had him playing bass at a bar gig in the show.

The story line was that the bass player from Rascal Flatts got electrocuted by his Fender Jazz Bass on stage at a big concert. As one of the CSIs is going to cut into the bass to look for evidence, the coroner stops him and says they were about to commit murder on a work of art - a 1962 Fender Jazz bass with the original paint (of course, it really was not but it added to the story). They, then, talk about the Yardbirds and mention Keith Relf getting electrocuted and dying. Very cool story as they were trying to find out who sabotaged the bass player's bass, amp, mic, and rack.
