custom neck

how much would it cost to make a custom neck for a thunderbird?

i need 24 frets on my bass and i love me my thunderbird

i dont want to buy a neck that has 24 frets and just bolt it on, i want my thunder style neck, its smexxxy

I have gotten quotes from 300-600

for a replacement neck for a Cort from different luthiers. The 300 would have been ok.

But, I correspondence with Bud LeCompte and I am sure he can hook you up. I ended up selling the bass, but he is a good cat and I would have used him.

having 24 frets wont really help since the thunderbird only lets you reach up to around the 15-17th fret. that is unless your tapping


im sure warmoth make bass necks with extended fretboard, not sure if they do for the Tbird though
