Question Damn cables!

Sign in to disble this ad
How many of you are fighting against the cables that curl?
It's a real plague!
So, if a cable looks like an old dead hair, what can I do to put it straight anew?
How do you store your cables?Do you roll them? How?

Are you talking about wire memory? Try coiling them in different sizes.

I coil mine, sometimes I do the fold in half, in half, in half until the cable is about a foot long and I velcro it.

I haven't had a problem with wire memory though.

Yeah exactly!

Ok, you fold it and don't roll it...good,and the velcro is a cool idea.I used to play without any cable,so I don't know anything about care.

I haven't had a problem with wire memory though.

I got cheap cables, thin like a guitar string!
So, now how can I straighten them?On stage it's awful!

If you coil them properly (each cable has a natural tendency to coil up) and uncoil them avoiding kinks, they should lay flat.

If not, the cables you're using are too stiff or too cheap.

Okay, then one of them is really too cheap, it looks like the monster of the Loch Ness...or an accordion, as you like.

The other one is ok,but to be rolled, not folded.

Hum, wait, I give you the brands:It's a stereo DAP and a mono PROEL.
