DARE ergonomic strap

OK - so this may not be the right forum, but it's about as close as I could get. I use a DARE strap, which I purchased a few years ago from the guy who made them. If you've not seen them, google dare strap, and you'll see what I'm talking about - essentially, the bass rests on both shoulders. I've had much more luck with this than the slider strap, and I would like to buy another, but the site says they've sold to D'Addario ... I can't find the straps anywhere, though! Any leads ... or anyone want to sell me one they don't use?

I'm Intrigued

They look like just what I need.

Have you had any luck finding them since you originally posted your inquiry?

I thought it was a DARE to keep kids of drugs strap... which would be much funnier.

Got one.

I had my local Guitar center order one for me (a nightmare!), and after waiting a bout a month for it to arrive, I found that I was unable to adjust it to keep the headstock of my bass high enough; it'd probably be great for player who like the necks of their basses more horizontal, but that's not the way I prefer to play.

I also noticed that the straps are neither smooth nor soft and can really chafe the neck.
