have some cash on you, don't overdo it with cologne, hair, accessories, any sort of preparation related thing...but be clean. make sure to be polite and respectful. chivalry dosn't have to be dead if you don't want it to be, and im sure she wouldn't mind if it wasn't.

i would avoid the dinner and a movie crutch, don't take her somewhere that dosn't promote conversation as you should want to talk and be yourself and hear what shes all about as well. if you don't click at least a little on that level, it wont work anyway.

thanks for the compliments as well....I do alright for myself, been overweight but dating absolutely gorgeous girls since i was in high school. the pier sounds like a solid choice man. have fun!

Listen, you're going to need a ton of Axe™ brand body spray.

Seriously though the only advice you need is to savor the experience of being young and clumsy at love. If you get your heart broken, savor that too. When you're older dating will be better in several ways, but you just won't feel the same way again.
