Bummer. What a big sound that band had! R.I.P. Rick.

DC5 was the first band I ever liked. Bits and Pieces and Do You love me were my first record purchases. I liked them better than the Beatles for a long time. Sorry to hear of his passing.

RIP. :(

The DC5 was one of my favorite bands back in the day. I still smile every time I hear "Can't You See That She's Mine?" RIP...

I thought the DC 5 had a more agressive sound than the Beatles. RIP, Rick.

Glad All Over was a favorite as a kid growing up watching the British invasion! RIP Rick...

If you ever see this 2 CD anthology called The History of The Dave Clark Five, get it. I highly recommend it. It has 50 of their best songs.

Ya know, maybe Rick Huxley and the DC 5 weren't the virtuoso musicians that were to come soon after, but they were part of a time when music was lots of FUN. We all enjoyed it. I'm glad to see that he is being remembered on TB.
