This might come off sounding like a wise-ass question, but it's really not. What exactly do you do there? I've never been to a clinic like this so I don't know and that's why I'm asking.

Does the "speaker" lecture, demonstrate, spend time with people individually, show off (probably happens to some degree with at least some), some combination of them, does it depend on the "speaker", etc. Like I said, I've never been to one and I'm curious. I might have to look for one near me and see what I might get out of it.

Oh, and the pictures are pretty cool. Thanks!

Alright. Who are you and what have you done with Bad_Habit_Bassist???

Same Spector logo, though, I see

Don't feel bad. I snapped these with my phone and then proceeded to forget about them until today.

Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.

You got it, man. All of the above. Plus we spent most of the day fondling the high end goodies at Bass Central before and after. All in all, a great day.

After threatening to sell my basses after hearing Dave and crew plus you other TB'rs; I decided it's time to get serious again, so I called my old teacher today.
I start lessons again in a week.

Probably the same reaction I'd have.

Thanks for the info, Eric. I'll have to make sure I get to a clinic someday.

That was an incredible, killer Bongo.

Of course it COULD have had something to do with who was playing it

I've heard Dave with a Dean, and it was amazing. It DEFINITELY has something to do with who is playing it!

No problemo.

I was talking with Beaver and Dave about lessons, and wrestling with 6 hours of driving for a 30 minute lesson.

So happens I ran into my old teacher who now lives 5 miles from me.

Guess I'm supposed to start studying again
