Desert Island DISC, NOT DISC(S)

Sign in to disble this ad
if you could recommend ONE and ONLY ONE disc, album. what would it be?? An album or multiple disc "album" that you WILL NEVER EVER EVER GET TIRED OF HEARING.

PLEASE no "box sets", double disc "hits" collection might be o.k.

mine would be either a live phish concert, a live Grateful Dead concert, or a live Jacob Fred Jazz Oddysey concert cd

however, emils has a good idea--I'd like a "how to build a raft out of sand" audio cd

Boston. First album. The one that switched me from Top 40 to rock.

On a desert island I think I'd want to hear Rachmaninov Piano Concertos 2 & 3 by Vladimir Ashkenazy w/ Kiril Kondrashin (Moscow Symphony) & Anatole Fistoulari (London Symphony). Great performances.

I love Back in Black but if I were on an island this would be it. Or Kind of Blue.

I have been listening to this record since the '70's.
I have never grown tired of this LP

Or Heavy Weather by Weather Report. It'd be a close toss up and I'd be happy with either.
