Its good stuff, some of it is quite hilarious, but the guitars are quite brutal.

Fenderhutz, go watch some episodes of "Metalocalypse". It's the most metal show I've ever seen. And freakin' hillarious.

I've been meaning to check out the CD, but haven't gotten around to it. It kills me that Duncan Hills Coffee is only on the deluxe edition. Looks like I'm payin' a bit more for this one.

The Dethalbum hurts

Well, picked up the deluxe two disc today and listened all the way through, and I noticed somthing right away. The mixing and mastering was not up to snuff. The album is loud and wimpy sounding (a modern trend I expected, but worth mentioning) and there are a lot of instances of clipped digital inputs in the album resulting in harsh upper register "squeaks" and "Pops". I found it most noticable on "Better Metal Snake" and "Thunder Horse". Basically, I listen to the album and it literally hurts, like fingernails on a chalkboard. I'm almost certain that this is a bad mix, but does anyone else have this going on with their copy?

Also, the songs are a lot better on the cd's than on the televised version.

All in all, 2 9/10 out of 5.

The production isn't very good, it's true. But the content is high quality. I think that most of the songs were recorded in a home studio when time permitted, though I may be wrong.

Funny, I just happened to listen to it today. I definitely agree that the sound quality leaves a little to be desired. Regardless, some of the songs really kick ass. I like "Into the Water," and "Go Forth and Die" the best.

Haha I got this album, I love it. The best song is Bloodrocuted. I would say get this album, the only problem is that it is hard to hear the bass in most of the songs.
