Hopefully I'll be going to their July 4th show. Gotta wait for the paycheck to come in, sigh...

I'm hoping to make one of their dates this summer, I love the show. I've seen a couple live videos with them, Bryan Beller seems to rock Murderface's lines pretty hard

Lotsa Beller fans!

I ran across this video a while back, from around the time of their first tour.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=YS7NXRQXem4

I found it pretty interesting, I'd heard of other people using that one/two fingers as a pick technique for fast riffs, but this video got me seriously practicing it.

Oh man, just got back from the show last night... Definitely one of the best concerts I've ever been to. Bryan Beller was simply amazing, I managed to shove my way to the front , just in front of him. Really cool to be able to see him play the lines, I've been trying to learn a couple Dethklok songs. Brendon Small was great as well, calmly sweep-picking Skwisgaar's lines back and forth while growling out Nathan Explosion's vocals. Good stuff.

The opening bands were alright, but a good chunk of the crowd was already getting exhausted in the pits by the time Dethklok went on--ha!

The only bad thing about the show was just before Dethklok went on, they played an ad for some computer game on the projector. I don't know, that just seemed really weird/tacky to me. I paid a good chunk of money for the ticket, ended up paying a whole lot more for some merch after the show, but they still feel the need to shove ads down my throat in that manner? :/

Even with the oddly-placed ad, it was an absolutely great show. To anyone who enjoys the show or their music, I cannot recommend the live show highly enough.

I wish they would come to Louisville, but the closest thing is Chicago.

Despite Winnipeg easily having one of the most metal crowds in Canada (if not the), like most bands, Dethklok is only going to... urg.... Toronto...

*spits*

Ruddy yanks... they'd easily fill a venue here.

I went last Tuesday in Detroit (actually Pontiac). Loudest thing I've ever heard in my life. Only problem was I couldn't hear any of the comedy routines--but that's probably because of the room...metal doesn't work well in an abandoned church...when you're up front near the PA speakers...and you didn't remember your earplugs.

Dethklok rules!
