You know, those of us that actually play cowbell professionally -wait, I'm not joking- were pretty interested when that spoof ad came out! I remember on a yahoo group devoted to bongos (bongoceros are also the campaneros, the cowbell players) several people who had been endlessly hunting for the perfect vintage LP "Black Beauty" from the New Jersey factory -no, I'm not kidding- expressed a lot of hope that the modeling cowbell might be real!
