Digitech Hardwire HT-6 Tuner questions???

Sign in to disble this ad
I searched but did not find much useful info.....

I have three main questions for anyone who has actually used one:

1 - Does this display tuning all the time, or only when you hit the mute switch? I know it's true bypass, which usually only would display tuning when switched on (like my Pitch Black) but some pedals can select TB or buffered settings to allow it to tune in bypass...hoping...

2 - How well does it handle Drop C tuning on bass?

3 - When you go through the trouble to set it to 4 string bass, and change the settings to CGCF, can you set that as default somehow so that when you plug it in it is always at that setting, or do I need to make adjustments every time I set up?

I did get the answers I needed from Digitech, in case anyone else is interested.

The pedal only displays tuning when in mute mode.

The settings you chose will be the mode that the pedal will be in when you turn it on.
