jeez he was 67. I would never think of him being that old, I always thought of him as younger.

He was the greatest heavy metal singer of all time, bar none, and I respect and admire him deeply. RIP.

The "funny" thing is he may have been quite a bit older than reported. All of the legal documents from his adult lifetime in metal have a birthdate about ten years later than the one on his birth certificate.

Still, he isn't doing well, and could probably use prayers, good vibes, good thoughts, support, whatever sent his way.

I feel bad for his wife/manager as she has to deal with "death" rumors at a time when her efforts and concern should be for her husband.

RUMOUR: Ronnie James Dio

Holy crap, I can't get this through my mind. My brain doesn't want to process or accept it!

Is it true? Is it true? I've read it earlier from Metalinsider and googled a few sites that confirmed it.

I'm so bummed! I thought he was recovering from his fight with the dragon.

I decided to post this here cause he was a bassist in his former band, Ronnie and the Redcaps.

Edit: There's a source saying he's still alive although he's in the hospital right now. THANK GOD!
