The dirt po' blues (aka: waiting for stuff)

Number one child is on the way, so belts are being tightened a little. I've still got clearance to get a cheap bass to keep downstairs in the kill-zone, but that's about it (I mounted my instruments on the wall in my study). Everything else comes out of my personal budget, which also covers rehearsal fees, strings etc. Not much to go around!

I've had to put a deposit on a 2nd hand Bassballs at a local pawnbroker, and it will take me two months to pay it off. I've been after one for ages after hearing soundclips, and I'm looking forward to doing some mods on it. It's going to be long wait.

This is a little bit like waiting for one of those custom hand-built fx pedals I see so much of online, but at the dirt cheap end of the spectrum. I'm a little embarassed!
