Hope this is the correct forum for this.
I find myself making quite a few demo-type products lately of various small group configurations to shop around for gigs. I think it looks unprofessional to have handwritten text or adhesive labels on a CD these days, and I have to do a compelte redesign on my website to have everything available online. In the meantime, I'd like to be able to print at least text on the discs I'm making and sending out to club owners, etc. Anybody using Macs have any good recommendations for CD printers? I've had terrible luck with Epson printers, but any other brand would be fine. |

Epson RX595. (now $135 on Epson's site)
can work with Macs
Uses SIX different ink cartridges!!!
HP C5280
works with Macs
only uses 2 cartidges. http://h71016.www7.hp.com/html/inter...owcase%7Cflash

BTW, if anyone cares ( ), my problem with Epson ink jets is that they work brilliantly until they get clogged, then they stop working, at which point their CS dept always says, "well, we couyld fix it for $xxx, but for that price you could get a brand new one...". I've been through this three times already. Never again.
HP, I can deal with! |

Yeah, you don't have to have a computer to use it for copying, printing from memory cards, etc. But if you want to use it with a computer, it's compatible with both PC and Mac.

It's a standalone printer that works great. I find it works better than using a computer and an inkjet printer. Though with Windows, you can hook it up to your computer and do all kinds of graphics. I use it for sending proofs to my photo clients. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
