Dishonesty or Stupidity?

There's an NV610 on eBay, here. The seller is in Englewood, NJ. He says that the cabinet, new, is $1800 from www.bassgeardirect.com. Which is sort of true, they actually list it for $1970. But it's an Australian website, so there's a currency exchange, but there's also import duties and all that. The last series of NV610s actually retailed for $970 I think it was. So do you think the seller posted that number intentionally, knowing it doesn't reflect the actual price in the USA, or are they just stupid, and don't know that Bass Gear Direct is in Australia?

The sloppiness of the ad copy and the photos makes me think the guy is just ignorant, and thinks he got a killer deal when he bought it for $1,000 or whatever. The more sheisty sellers are not likely to include their name and phone number in their ad.
