DIY Silkscreen a chassis?

Not of great importance at all (especially not now seeing it isnt built yet!)

But im making a DIY guitar amp, one of those 1 watt or 5 watt jobs.

And was just wondering if there is any way to easily screen print onto the front of the chassis.

Will either be spraying or getting it powder coated. But would like something more professional looking that just writing on.

Anyone have any ideas?

I dont know anything about silk screening but I've seen lettering/numbering sticker kits sold in various sizes and styles.

If you have any artist type friends, maybe they could paint some really cool lettering with a thin brush.
(then spray a protective clear coat over the whole faceplate)

Or possibly have some small stickers custom made on transparent backing.
