Sorry if this has already posted, and also if this is in the wrong place.

I came across this article today, and it made me think, surely there are songs with better basslines? I'm a big Muse fan, and Hysteria is great fun to play, but to say that it's the best bassline of all time is going a bit far IMHO.

Maybe you guys think differently? And maybe you disagree with the rest of the top 10 as well.

I suppose if the poll was named "Most Iconic Basslines Ever" I could see where they were coming from, but then again, what's the difference? "Best" seems quite vague, but for a blanket poll that must have been voted on my many guitarist and non-musicians, maybe they have a point?

As a huge Muse fan, I think it's a great line, but definitely not the best bass line of all, not even the best Muse bassline I would say either!
