I was looking at some pics from my last gig, and I noticed how funny I looked with a trans teal/blue bass and a olive green/orange shirt.

Do any of you try to match/coordinate your clothes with your bass on gigs?

(this poll is VERY Major Metal of me )

Yes. Luckily one is natural, the other is white, so anything matches them.

Are there any tone differences when wearing a burl maple shirt as opposed to a mahogany shirt? Is the collar burl maple too? Is it neck through(t-shirt) or bolt on(button up)?

Oh yeah, and black goes with anything, so I guess I do color coordinate. I haven't found a sunburst or greenburst shirt yet either.

Our full 3-hour show requires 4 basses, so no.

Other than a CAR Jazz all I've ever had were naturals and sunbursts. I never considered that before.

So there's yet another reason why they're the finishes of choice (for me anyway)!

I try not to clash with my basses on stage. If I'm not sure, I'll ask my wife - there, I said it.

I USUALLY wear a black Harley T-shirt on stage (AND off stage, too!) . . . that's why I voted "yes".

I have never come across a 3-color sunburst shirt. So, it's a "no."

Not really, but red (which is the colour of my bass) and black (the colour of most of my clothes) thend to go quite well. Happy accident? You decide.

Well seeing as how I have a natural, I'm not too inclined to go au natural on stage, would distract from the worship just a tad.
