I do, because that is where most of my music is.
I put the laptop on my amp and plug it in to the second input.

I do sometimes, I usually will put on a live performance dvd and mute it. It kinda helps me to concentrate on the music and manage distractions that I may encounter during a performance.... except the THOUSANDS of screaming fans.

I do skype lessons with a cat on the other side of the country. I also use you tube as a learning tool, so I find myself at the computer with my bass often. That being said I also have a space that is just an amp and a stool where I practice my own stuff, songs I already know and go over scales. The computer can be distracting.

Yup, I don't have a practice amp so I use my UX1 and monitors and sometimes headphones. Plus I can record when I do this and capture things I might forget. I don't really "practice" as in play scales and do exercises. I just noodle around until I play something that sounds cool and then I'll go from there.

I do it to learn new songs...I'll run it a couple times with the music and the bass tabs to get an idea, then lose the tabs and just play along and work in some lines.

Not primarily but like others have mentioned, it's useful for youtube, recording, songs on your playlist, and I've even used it for lessons on occasion. The most frequent use is probably if I'm learning vocals for a song, I'll pull up the lyrics and play while reading/singing.

Yes ... I play the song I am learning on the computer and play along with it. It is a useful tool for learning songs. I also use my computer to find tabs or sheet music as I need them.

always practice in front of my computer - especially when learning cover songs. here is a great tool for those that don't want to drop the money on a tascam trainer. loop functions, change keys without changing tempo, and slow songs down without changing keys.

and this one is free

I jam along with my iTunes. I just sit there and work through whole albums at a time.

I do it all the time. I find it a very useful tool. YouTube is a great learning source IMHO. Also all my music is in there. I don't find it distracting because when I practice, iTunes is on the screen so there's no way for the iTunes window to distract me. Also useful for lyrics as Martin89 mentioned.

What I do is plug the computer to my amp (Hartke A100) that has audio dedicated input and that's it.

I practice in front of the computer if I'm playing along to songs or learning new ones.

If I'm working on rhythm, technique, or reading from a book, no. Usually then it's chair, bass, metronome, book (if applicable) and me.
