I started playing around with a few basslines for a song my band just started writing recently. Nature called, but I didn't wanna put my bass down since I was onto a good bassline for the chorus..so the bass came with me to the throne...Am I the only weirdo who has done this ?

No, you're not the only weirdo that's done it. Just the only one to tell everybody you did. You do what ya gotta do, right?

You know it's bad that I, too, have thought about redoing my bathroom so I can play on the throne.

How do you find time to play it while you do your business?

I've done it a few times. Almost sounds like a greasy envelope filter if you time it just right!

There's time. Especially after you eat two or three Taco Bell Toasted Burritos...

Bathroom really does have great acoustics though. I wrote the first two basslines on my myspace in there, actually... (www.myspace.com/basseriussounds - Ignore the horrid playing)
