Does anyone know about the Los Angeles Music Academy and it's bass program???

I plan to try to go there next year so I am working on my technique and all that good stuff. I also currently thinking about going to Gerald Veasley's Bass Boot Camp. I read wonderful things about it. It also seems like the requirements aren't so bad. It is just that I would becoming from Washington d.c. to Pasadena if I were to get accepted which I don't mind. I am young and I like new experiences. I just want to know how the bass program is? Will it take me far with my bass playing? And possibly have me gigging professionally? I hear how it has some great job placement. So would it be worth it if I got accepted?
