Does anyone know of a website where you can download songs with the bass cut from...

...the song?

I want to know if its me i'm hearing or the bass in the song. I can turn my subwoofer off, but even if i do that i still have something to follow on. I just want to try it... Just to see if it makes a difference. It doesn't have to be a particular song, just a collection of things that I might know or get to learn.

Can't answer the question, but I have a couple of suggestions:

If the bass isn't all over the place (lots of treble/whatever) in the mix, you could try killing it with an equaliser. Foobar and Winamp have decent ones. Foobar's I know is decent. This way you can hopefully keep some of the bass drum too.

Or Guitar Pro's RSE engine isn't THAT bad... And that way you can switch off what ever you want.
