I play a little trombone still. I did the marching band thing in high school. It prepared me for reading bass clef.

I picked up mandolin and keys from being in a Led Zeppelin Tribute. After a show at 3rd & Lindslay in Nashville, Roger Daltry came out of the shadows and said we did a great job. I'll never forget it!

Studied classical clarinet pretty seriously until my early 20s. Some keys and harmonica too.

Blues harp (Harmonica) is my second instrument. Proper Chicago Blues harp style, not Bob Dylan or Neil Young style.
I play a bit of Dobro, Guitar, Banjo and Ukulele too, but i wouldn't say i'm great at them.

Obviously bass is the main instrument, but i also play guitar, drums, dulcimer, mandolin, a little keys....I have a home studio. It helps to be able to play extra stuff.

Yes bass is the main instrument. I have played trombone, sax and clarinet in the past. I also play (yikes) guitar, mandolin, keys and can maintain a steady beat on drums for....a while, but I'm certainly no drummer.

Guitar, dobro/lap steel, mandolin, keys, djembe. Man, when I was working on my MA in Ethnomusicology I played about two dozen instruments with a fair degree of competency... some of the instruments in the Javanese and Balinese gamelan orchestras I was REALLY good at. I've slacked off since those days!

I play trumpet. I'm better at the trumpet.
Picked up bass because my youthgroup was looking for one.
I find the bass easier to practice (don't have to always be at full volume, etc.), so I find my self playing bass at home and the trumpet at school.
