No, I don't work for Guitar Center.

| | | | If your in the 705 go with L&M. Once you pay duty, exchange, tax, and shipping, you end up with a higher price and more hassle.
Also if you need to return it L&M are so cool about that.
I don't work for L&M.

I don't work for L&M. | Agree. Ordering online to save a few bucks is hardly ever worth it in the end. You'll save yourself a lot of headaches by just forking over the cash and picking it up from L&M. Plus then you eliminate the wait, and can be playing it by tonight.

You'll also have to consider warranty issues and possibly international shipping for a covered repair.
If the cost difference is huge then it works but if its fairly minor then best to buy local.
My $.02 |

FYI after just checking the G-K website, it would appear that L&M are the exclusive G-K distributors for Canada.

TD | Specifically that would be Yorkville Sound ('same thing in practice) who also handle G-K's warranty and repair work north of the 49th'. |
