Does anyone use the DiMarzio ClickLok strap?

I was looking at a new strap since my Gibson lightning bolt strap is dying (the holes are widening). My '78 P is pretty hefty so I want a strap that will be comfortable. I'd guess about 9 lbs. Does anyone use one of these?

I've had one on my Peavey Fury for over 20 years. It's great. I got one for my strat, too.

I had one on a BEAD-strung bass before I made the switch to five-strings, and I can't say I was too happy with it. The straight nylon material of the strap made it very slippery and aided neck-dive considerably (back then there was only one type of strap - I'm not sure if you have a choice these days), and if you forget or lose the ClipLok strap you're screwed, as opposed to being able to still use a strap on StrapLok buttons (and indeed, the "Dual Design"-type are made especially for that predicament.) I'm much happier using StrapLoks and being able to use my choice of strap.

I got one of those straps in my '80s Ibanez guitar. . . LOL.

You need a 3.5" or 4" strap, son, not a guitar strap.

Or try looking for the comfort strapp, and Fender also makes some nice straps for bass.

Oh, yeah, and Dunlop Straplocks are a must.

I agree, I used one for a while but went to a
better strap and retro fitted all my stuff with
Schallers. Except the Burns as the button sticks
out backwards, so I used Dunlops on that.

I'll get a different strap. My friend recommended it for me since he uses it on a heavy guitar so I wanted some bassist's feedback. Thanks guys.
