Does UPS, Fedex, or any of those companies pickup in the snow?

So I live in the NW where it is been snowing for the past 5-6 days, and there is more snow to come apparently.

I need to get my GK out as I was trading but our car (Saturn Vue, its front wheel drive) cant even get out of the garage without sliding down our driveway. So does anyone know if UPS, Fedex or any of those delivery companies pickup in a few inches of snow?

Short answer: No.

I've had 2 delivery exceptions today, One from UPS and one from FedEx. They don't even attempt. I'm hoping FedEx gets their act together tomorrow as I have two packages being overnighted to me.

Postal service delivers as long as the mail can come, though.

I should mention, though, that the postal service can be pricey for larger/heavier items.

Looks like the USPS cost is for 3 day is the same as the price for UPS ground.
How much would it cost to insure a $500 GK?
