MY GOD is this guy a monster!

I've now realized how much transcribing can help.
I realized that "Kung Fu World Champion" - 'Hiromi Uehara' is pretty much a minor blues, in a Harmonic Minor mode. GENIUS!!!

And what Tony uses over the chords?! His phrasing is Genius!
Man. I just needed to let that out. I'm so happy.

Oh, note to Tony;
Enough with the fourths! Do you have any idea how long hard that is?!

Just kidding man. You keep on killing, and I'll keep on transcribing!

I'm listening to Tony right now on Sonicbloom Time Control. He's a monster no doubt. His playing is top notch. Especially his unison lines. He's right up there with AJ on those.

One of my absolute favorite players indeed.

Good job on the transcription!

Yeah, saw him live with Hiromi a few months back... killer! I have all the Hiromi albums, being a jazz pianist as my main instrument.

Time to bump this, I feel. Mark, do you still have this transcription? Will you share? I am currently working on "Peace of Mind".

Just had a lesson with Tony - words cannot express my respect for this guy. Totally amazing human and bassist.

A big fan here too, I'd quite like to get my hands on that trancription...
