Double Duty (advice needed)

I'm just now on my way to an audition for a semi-established local band. Only, I just joined another local band last weekend.

Here's what happened: I had auditioned for Band A some weeks ago and never heard anything back from them. I went into audition for Band B and vibe was really good and they asked me to come back straight away. On my third rehearsal with them I told them I'd play with them (up to that point I was waiting to hearing from Band A but hadn't). As I was driving away from rehearsal I got a message from Band A. They wanted a callback. I took it and thats where I am now. I figured if they offered me the gig I'd be up front and tell them I'm already committed to one group but would be open to playing both bands if everyone involved is amenable to it.

Here's the question: If Band A wants me to play with them, do I try to pull both gigs. Both bands are looking at about 2 rehearsals a week so, not impossible for me to do. My only concern is when they start booking gigs. Anybody here play in more than one active band? How do you make it work?
