Double Gig Bag... for Guitar and Bass?

Sign in to disble this ad
I play at church, and often play bass, and occasionally guitar on some songs.

I know there are double gigbags out there... but the ones I have seen are for 2 basses, or 2 guitars.

What I need is a "double" gigbag, that will have a large compartment for a bass, and a smaller compartment for a guitar.

Am I the only one who could use such a beast?

Andy Ideas where to get one?

Pretty Please, with sugar on top?

Thanks, in advance.

You are not alone. But I have no info to help you. I am house bass every week, and I bring a guitar hoping to play a little, so I could use one too. C'mon Talkbassers.

Why not just get a bass double bag and make a foam spacer?

This would be a necessary product for an ACOUSTIC guitar, but not for electric, cause a Dreadnought won't fit in an electric bass case but a Strat or ES335 will.

I would really like a bass/acoustic bag.

i routinely carry my bass and my nocaster guitar in my roscoe double gigbag--works great, you don't really need a smaller compartment for the guitar at all

the depth is similar, and the shape of the neck portion of the bag keeps the guitar from sliding up, so the only real slack room is the extra in the neck towards the headstock...and when i carry 2 basses, they both fit too, which is a plus of going the double bass route

I've got a great Gator double gigbag. If I carry a guitar too, I typically just put it in the front section so that they lay a little more logically.

I suppose I should mention that it has two separate zippered compartments in it. Are there double gigbags that don't do that? Just curious cuz I read something about a spacer...?

mine doesn't have 2 separate zippered compartments, just a padded, lined, spacer between the 2 instrumenst that fits from inside edge to inside edge of the perimeter of the bag
