Are there any straps for bass that distribute weight across both shoulders evenly?

I've bought several straps over the past few years. A few of them were of the double-strapped variety, and they either shifted my bass into an unnatural playing position or scissored my neck.

A buddy has a leather double-strap, and he swears by it, but it was custom-made for him by a leathersmith who has since passed away. I guess the only way to get a double-strap to work for me will be to have one custom made.

Please let us know if you find one that works for you!

DOUBLE STRAP

FYI, just came across this. I've been working with GruvGear to have professionally made a new version of the leather double strap I made for myself years back. Should be out in 2010 !! I'm confident we can get a great and comfortable design that doesn't make anything awkward physically (kind of defeats the purpose otherwise). I love the double I made for myself, so, if all goes well, we'll ALL be in luck!
