I feel pretty good about the decision! I haven't been very busy these days. I play more subbing than I do with my own freakin' band! I am selling off things I don't use, downsizing my bass amp from a head/2 cabinet rig to a Carvin Micro Amp (I may get the extension speaker, I don't know.) I will be downsizing my PA to some nice quality powered speakers.
I have a couple of friends that are interested in doing some black tie type gigs ("society" tunes, torch songs, jazz standards, etc.) I have also been talking to a buddy about putting together an acoustic group. I am pretty stoked about the future! |
