Dragonforce's new album 'Ultra Beatdown'

Opinions ahead of time anyone? Impressions?
They have died for me since Inhuman Rampage and GH3. I was listening to them before these 14 yr old 'ZOMG DEY PL4Y FATS!111ONEELEVEN' kids knew about metal.

I'm VERY skeptical about this name. It sounds lame as ever (just when you thought they couldnt outdo themselves, but no.) But we'll see.

The artwork is also bad as usual too, just worse this time.

I imagine this record will just be a response to their commercial success (aka Through the Fire and Flames) so i hope they take no more shortcuts than usual with their songwriting. They've really proven their genius with this new album title!

Their lead singer is really good... Such a shame he's wasting his talent on those guys. I mean, I respect them for what they do. But what they do is not very good and they could most likely do better...

Wow... After seeing the album cover in this thread I Googled it just to make sure that this wasn't a joke thread and the cover was fake. But it's real, ROFL! That's really bad. I hate Dragonforce with a passion and I doubt this new album is going to change that.

I agree, the singer is good, but those two guitarists are pathetic. Before everyone says "but listen to this song", I don't give a crap what miracles they can work in the studio, if you can't even play in tune live, you suck.

I think it's a cool looking cover actually. I wouldn't listen to 30 seconds of the music though. Give me Zero Hour any day.

The sad thing is, ALL the members in the band are highly talented. It's just too bad they have to suck live because they're drunk, write solos too hard for them to play live, etc...(mainly to the guitarists, the other guys are spot on live)
