I was playing around last night with a new song, lithium by nirvana(wife likes it dont take away my punk creds hahaha) and i went to drop d tuning, and then i got silly and started playing some slap funk stuff (making it up by ear) and I got to say my bass loved playing it in drop D. Sounded really good to me. Anyone know of any funk songs that are played in that tuning? who knows maybe a ton are and my newbness just discovered it, but i was pretty surprised how nice it sounded.
